What I am happiest working in is pencil, ink and stone.  I can draw anything; animal, object, figure  with a reference. I am currently working on taking an animal and developing a  character. Working with an image to bring it to life and substance so children will be able to identify with it. 

I am a observer of nature. I watch the birds, the squirrels and the bunnies in my backyard. They interact the same as we do. I find pleasure in seeing the funny things that they do. I remember in my minds eye and reproduce in story and form.
